I just got back into Wi-Fi range a minute ago, and Google Photos suddenly tells me it's made this little movie of one of the days I spent in Yunnan Province earlier this week. So after the usual panic attack about Google taking over every part of my life, it turns out that I really like this little film. #mollified
The short combo of photos and clips shows me hanging with my new friends Frank (a local tour guide from Dali who loves plants and flowers and has a great singing voice) and Jenny (from Beijing, who just got her driver's license, which is why I let her drive the scooter).
In the video, we're at the market, then making lunch with a traditional Bai woman with the stuff we bought at the market. Later I'm riding a scooter through a tiny village with Jenny at the controls and then watching a group of old ladies do traditional line dancing (no video of the part when I join them though, thankfully). You know, just the usual having-a-good-time stuff you do when you're in Yunnan. Which you should go to btw.
